Since 1997, the Michigan Gaming website has been a comprehensive resource regarding gaming in the state of Michigan. This site is an RMC Ventures, LLC publication, with contributions by the original creators of the site, Attorney David Waddell and Gaming Analyst Robert Russell, and additional contributions by Attorney J.J. Burchman.

Mr. Waddell,  Mr. Russell and Mr. Burchman are also associated with Regulatory Management Counselors, P.C., which proactively assists clients in managing regulatory issues in an effort to maximize company profits and avoid legal problems.

The National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) announced Wednesday the recipients for the 2020 National Awards in Problem Gambling. The Awards ceremony followed the conclusion of the NCPG’s Digital Symposium and were announced Friday, July 24.

The event featured dozens of diverse presenters and was attended by over 340 members of the problem gambling and responsible gambling fields. NCPG Board Member Chip Polston and Executive Director Keith Whyte emceed the event. NCPG extended their deepest thanks to all of the sponsors who made the Digital Symposium and the National Awards Ceremony possible.

On Friday, July 24, NCPG announced the re-election of three officers to their Board of Directors: Robert Jacobson was re-elected as President, Stacy Shaw was re-elected as Vice President, and Julie Hynes was re-elected as Secretary. Board member Brad Longcake of the Montana Council on Problem Gambling was newly elected Treasurer.
