On August 31, the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) updated its health and safety guidelines for all exhibitors, attendees, media, speakers, and AGA and RX staff.

The new guidelines will require all show participants to provide proof of at least one dose of an FDA-approved COVID-19 vaccination or one dose of a vaccine authorized for emergency use by the FDA or WHO. Also, pursuant to Nevada’s adoption of the CDC’s updated mask guidance, all G2E attendees will be required to wear a face covering.

In collaboration with The Venetian Resort and the Sands Expo & Convention Center, G2E has implemented cleaning and sanitization standards that meet or exceed the CDC’s recommendations. G2E has also adopted new exhibitor guidelines that support improved capacity management and physical distancing in the convention center. The event will also make use of signage to direct attendees in the safest manner possible.

In its announcement of the new vaccination requirement, G2E expressed its belief that its proactive health and safety guidelines will “support a productive and safe G2E 2021.”

G2E will continue to update its health and safety policies and procedures and provide a list of frequently asked questions at the health and safety page of its website here.

Information about COVID-19 vaccinations and how to schedule an appointment for vaccination can be found here.
