Four Winds Casinos Announce Executive Leadership Change

The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi’s Four Winds® Casinos announced this week that Clayton Mason will assume the role of interim Chief Operating Officer (COO). Clayton Mason will also continue to serve as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Four Winds Casinos.

“On behalf of the Pokagon Gaming Authority and Pokagon Band Tribal Council, we would like to sincerely thank Frank Freedman for his 16 years of service to our Four Winds Casinos, including serving as COO over the last eight years.  Frank has made significant contributions to our gaming enterprise over the years and his presence will be missed.  He played a significant role in helping us reach many major milestones including the recent expansion of Four Winds South Bend.  He was also instrumental in establishing and mentoring our executive leadership team as well as shaping our collaborative company culture.  We wish Frank all the best in his future endeavors,”  said Rebecca Richards, Chairwoman of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians.

“We have the utmost confidence in Clayton Mason who will continue to serve as CFO as well as interim COO,” added Chairwoman Richards.  “Clayton has been a member of our executive leadership team for many years and he is well qualified to serve in dual roles until we name a replacement.”

 

MGCB Public Meeting Scheduled for Tuesday, June 13, 2023

The Michigan Gaming Control Board (“MGCB”) will hold a regular public meeting on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at the MGCB’s Cadillac Place Office, 3062 W. Grand Boulevard, Suite L-700, Detroit, 48202-6062. The meeting will begin at 9:30 AM and will also be accessible via Zoom.

The MGCB will consider approval of occupational licenses, supplier licenses, supplier license renewals, approval of new key persons, and transfer of interest. The full agenda for the June meeting may be found here.

The meeting is open to the public, and comments from the public are welcomed and encouraged during the public comment portion of the meeting. The MGCB asks you to submit this form to MGCBweb@michigan.gov by 9:30 AM, Tuesday, June 13, to notify them you plan to address the Board during public comment. Please include your telephone number on the form. You also may use the Q&A in the Zoom meeting to indicate you wish to speak during public comment. Please provide your name and telephone number, and you will receive a call placing you in the queue.
