MGCB Launches Expanded Responsible Gaming Website
On March 17, 2026, The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) launched an expanded Don’t Regret the Bet website during Problem Gambling Awareness Month. The updated site offers new tools, educational content, and resources to help Michiganders make informed gambling decisions.
“Responsible gaming starts with awareness and access to reliable information,” said Henry Williams, Executive Director of the MGCB. “The updated website makes it easier for residents to understand gambling risks and connect with help if needed.”
Highlights include:
- Guidance for spotting warning signs of problem gambling.
- Resources for friends and family supporting someone at risk.
- A new Youth Gambling Prevention section with tips for parents and educators.
- Direct links to confidential help, including the Michigan Problem Gambling Helpline.
The youth-focused content emphasizes early awareness, noting that exposure to casual betting by age 12 increases the likelihood of problem gambling later.
The website is free and accessible to anyone seeking information on gambling risks and responsible play. Visit DontRegretTheBet.org to explore the new resources.
